Theatre

I mean, you’re no Sir Lawrence Olivier, but nobody knows that when you have amazing stage shots to show off.

Just like any other photograph, stage shots can be boring. Capturing the height of emotion, the feeling of a scene, tension, anger, love, or humor is a skill honed through practice just like any other. It’s best if I shoot your dress rehearsal, that way I can move around and really squeeze every drop of possibility out of your performance. If necessary though, I’ll shoot an actual performance and keep myself as unnoticed as humanly possible (which is pretty discreet — silent footsteps and black clothes in a dark theatre building are pretty easy to ignore). Ultimately, you get amazing images to keep forever, from a performance that only happens once. What more could you really ask for?
